CD-Reviews
Ariadne got excellent reviews for her latest album with works by Lutoslawski, Szymanowski and Janácek.
The American Record Guide wrote: "What a gorgeous tone Daskalakis has! ... What a treat for the ears this album is!" The Strad praised her "honeyed-tone and the technically impeccable playing". Dominy Clements (MusicWeb International) warmed "to the polish in the playing and dynamic drama and tensions between passion and restraint, songful lyricism, playfulness and fervour” and described the production as "chamber-music gold.”
The musical content reaches us on an emotional level.
